Kanato Le

Junior

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kanato was introduced to karting at age 7 and entered his first race in October 2017 at age 10.
In 2018, he competed in his rookie season in the cadet class throughout Japan where he had a number of podium finishes and a win.
He continued to race in Japan during the 2019 season but had a taste of UK racing during the Summer with Fusion Motorsport in an MSA and LGM race at Rowrah and culminating in a 7th place finish at Kartmasters in the IAME Mini X30 category.  What he experienced from those 3 races made him realize that he had to come to the UK to compete with the world’s best young drivers.
He moved to the UK by himself in January, 2020 to start his British Championship and European Championship rookie season with Fusion Motorsport in the IAME Junior X30 category.
